British painter, printmaker, and book artist born in Wallasey, Cheshire, United Kingdom, in 1933 and educated at the Birkenhead School of Art and Royal Academy Schools. Tyson taught at the Camberwell School of Art and Craft and at the Farmham School of Art (1959-1966).
